The planet is ailing as the human population keeps on increasing. As a civilization which is still at the initial phase of its growth, development and progress, we have achieved great heights at a very young age. When man learned to control his environment, manipulate resources to fit his requirements when needed, set out on inter-planetary expeditions are feats nothing short of impressive. With the advancements in modern architecture, warfare and the common way of life, we are placing a heavy burden on Mother Earth.

Granted, there have been many attempts to reverse this by trying to get people to reduce the usage of non-biodegradable materials without providing or even in some cases, suggesting equally suitable alternatives. In commonly seen cases where such alternatives suggested are both equally suitable and of comparatively lower ill-effect on the environment, these come with other problems of their own, like – higher costings and/or the inability to mass produce at a timely rate make them not viable to be a long term sustainable solution. We, at WriteO2, are also attempting something similar with great hopes of bettering the environment by providing a large variety of items of every day use like pens, soaps and exotic items like handicrafts and Kerala Pappadam (Tortilla) and making them easily accessible to as many people as we can.

We are a plastic-pens replacing and Organic soap manufacturing company, we have served more than 50 clients in India with a motive of RE-COLLECT, RE-CYCLE & RE-USE. We always motivate and request people to adopt Recycled Stationery Products and Organic soaps because recycling of waste paper & plastic pens are directly impacting the environment through saving trees. We always motivate and request people to use Organic Soaps to minimise the burden of chemicals on nature.

Our aim is not only to make Mother Earth greener through saving and planting trees but to create more and more awareness about environmental issues and effects of Global Warming. With the motive to create awareness about environment issues we are more focused on school kids, because we believe that if we need to bring any revolution, kids are the best way to create it.

Presently more than 15 schools, colleges and universities are associates and supporting our green initiative of recycled paper pens. Many of them get their school stationery manufactured from us under their green initiative or CSR activities. We have ventured on to providing Organic Soaps through which we aspire to inspire everyone to use eco-friendly products.

Some things we would like you to know about one of the most commonly used every day item and the effects and consequences on the environment it brings. Here goes –

Over 10 Billion non bio-degradable pens are sent to landfills every year. Pens are made of steel, polypropylene, nylon, polyester and a number of chemicals. Most people buy pens in bulk, think about all the packaging, the paper and the plastic, which may or may not be taken by recycling centers Most recycling centers do not take used pens.

You won’t believe that 12.15 lacs plastic pens are thrown everyday only in India. If we consider 8-10 gm in every pen, it’s a huge destruction.

Write Oxygen recycled paper pens have replaced hard plastic part in a normal plastic pen. By doing so, we have achieved 100% plastic vimukt Lakshya in every single pen.
